Arasavaal Eeppidippaan in Tamil (அரசவால் ஈப்பிடிப்பான்) 

Widespread resident. Male has black head and crest, with white or rufous upperparts and long tail streamers. Female has reduced crest and lacks streamers. Forest and well wooded areas.
